No. 9 Columbus State Tennis Blanks Tuskegee 9-0.

Tuskegee, AL – The ninth ranked Columbus State University men's tennis team blanked Tuskegee in the final four singles matches as the Cougars won the match 9-0 over the Golden Tigers Thursday. The match took place at the Pepsico Tennis Courts in Tuskegee, AL.
In doubles action, Gordan Divljak and Quentin Rayniere won their match 8-1 over David Mohammed and Gabriel Byrd at first doubles. Michael Trebuhov and Adi Malicbegovic moved to second doubles and had no problem winning the match 8-2 over Andrew Knight and Arion Williams. In the final doubles match of the day, Danilo Sardelli and Oussama Zoghlami defeated Bobby Smith and E.G. Pugh 8-1.
Divljak played at first singles for the first time this season for the Cougars (12-1) and defeated Mohammed 6-2, 6-2. Rayniere played just one set at second singles winning it 6-0 before Byrd retired giving the Cougar the match. Zoghlami had the first shutout for CSU at third singles winning the match 6-0, 6-0 over Knight. Sardelli defeated Pugh at fourth singles 6-0, 6-0.
Trebuhov and Malicbegovic continued the trend for the Cougars at fifth and sixth singles. Trebuhov defeated Williams 6-0, 6-0 at the fifth spot while Malicbegovic won 6-0, 6-0 over Smith in the final match of the afternoon.
Columbus State will return home to face off against Francis Marion Saturday, March 17. The Peach Belt Conference match will begin at 11:00 a.m.
